The Diva's Weekly Challenge #147: "UMT v. XXIII - Boo*Kee"

It's a rough day for me.  There's a lot of turmoil going on, and I found my tangle challenge today to be a welcome, calming diversion.  It also gave me a chance to try out one of my new Sakura Gelly Roll Metallics.  (Yes, I caved...)  I hope you enjoy my take on Laura's tangle pattern:  "Boo*Kee".

The challenge can be found here.

  6. Thanks to all of you. My niece saw it and remarked that to her it looks like "an upside down journey into marriage" LOL. Guess you can tell what's on her mind lately. ;)

  7. This tile you completed is beautiful. I loved it as soon as it came on my screen. My wife agreed with me and really likes it too. To me, I see an old sailing ship of several hundred years ago. The ship is at full sail and heading into the wind. Can you tell that I have a Naval background? (30 yr veteran). My experience is short in Zentangle but I think this is the most lovely of tiles I have ever seen to date.

  8. Nice variation of the tangle. The touch of color adds a softness to the tile. Looks like could be on the front of a card. Great combination of tangles.
