I can't help but think of Pea-nuckle as crochet or something similar. Because of that, whenever I put it into a tile, I try to "stitch" it in there. I really should get out of that.
I decided to try red in the first, and didn't much like the results at first, but I pushed through and ended up liking it better.
I stuck with black for the second, and I like my variants of both patterns a lot better in this one.

Thanks as always, Laura.
And check out my new tangle patterns: Gilda and XoC--play around with them and post links so I can see what you do with them!
Your Pea-nuckle is so well done. I love how yours looks. Both tiles are lovely. The red does add a bit of pop to the first one. I do love a good old black and white Zentangle tile though!
ReplyDeleteDayna, I really REALLY like your challenge entry and what you did with it in red. That tile really reaches out to me. It reminds me of a mango laying on a bed of well. The second tile reminds me of a corn on the cob...both tiles are really yummy. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI think you've definitely got the hang of pea-nuckle in these two tiles and your Well is lovely in both! I like it with the addition of colour too. Axxx
ReplyDeleteBoth tiles are beautiful. I like the touch of red in the first one.
ReplyDeleteBoth are wonderful! Especially I like the first one. The little bit of red adds nice accents!
